Customer Care The course it is based on the Welcome host customer care program, students will be taken through: Welcoming Customers, Tourism in NI, Understanding Customers, Delivering service excellence, Communication, Providing information and advice, Meeting specific needs, Dealing with difficult situations and Boosting business. This is a demanding day and students must be well motivated. |

Motivational Talks The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate young people to assess their strengths and shortcomings with a view to empowering them to make decisions to maximise their potential. Depending on school facilities this can be of short duration or a longer interactive half day workshop. |

Extended Schools Programmes These programmes allow schools to develop stronger links with parents and the wider community through their engagement with young people in a school setting. The programmes are delivered in the evenings and weekends to facilitate attendance by parents and the local population. |

Interview Skills This is a program designed to help pupils market themselves effectively in an interview situation. It aims to address issues including completion of job applications, verbal and non-verbal communication, and preparation for interview, attitude and personal appearance. It is intended that students will buy into this and arrive on the last day dressed for an interview. The class will be shown a mock interview video showing good and bad interviews. There will be an opportunity for some students to participate in a mock interview in the class. Students will also be advised of the importance of keeping all information private and appropriate especially email addresses and online profiles. |
