Experiences of Work

The main aim of the program is to raise awareness of careers within specific areas as well as the importance of STEM subjects. As the length of the normal working person has increased it is essential to choose wisely as many people will work 51 years before they reach pension age. The program will normally last 2-3 periods and can be modified to suit the students needs, it involves a selection of power-point and Video presentations, covering not only the academic requirements for careers but will also cover the other essential employ ability area’s including skills, attitude, determination, presentation, research, personal contribution and personality. This would be regarded as a motivation careers talk.
