In conjunction with the Liverpool Mathematics Society this interesting and challenging workshop will provide the motivation for pupils to look at Mathematics in a different way. It sets Mathematics is a ‘real world’ context and encourages lateral thinking skills of a more practical nature. 
Age Range8-16 Year olds
Time Allocation60-90 minutes
Max. Group Size60 students, working in teams of 2
Resources35-50 single tables laid out in rows 3 feet apart, each table will have a puzzle and students working in teams of 2 will work together to solve as many puzzles as they can within the time allocated, In primary schools post primary mentors or teaching staff may be required to assist.
