pj    U-Formation was founded by Pat Jamison.

Pat promotes a Person Centred approach to training by inspiring and motivating staff and students to want to excel. He enjoys the ‘hands on’ approach to get people to recognise and develop their existing skills. By promoting team skills; building confidence, teamwork and the sharing of best practice. 

Pat is a qualified Aeronautical Engineer who has completed the Professional Trainer and Facilitators course at ‘Brathay’. He holds a Diploma in Counselling, Theory and Skills and his degree is in Professional Leadership Management. Pat is a qualified trainer for both Worldhost and Welcome Host Customer care programmes and has also completed the Parallax educators course on Robotics.

As a Professional Trainer he provides all the necessary equipment for a professional presentation, with all the necessary software to maximise the use of modern technology, so that training can be inter-active, interesting and motivational. 

As an independent Training Consultant he carries out numerous programs for schools and the commercial sector.

Pat has full Access NI clearance.

Academic Leader and Careers Guidance

Pat owns and developed all ability educational courses at U-formation.co.uk he is currently and has been for the past 20 years acted as the Conference coordinator and Treasure for NISCA ‘the Northern Ireland careers teachers association’ He has worked with Sentinus, the main STEM provider for schools within NI as an associate for 14 years.

Pat is an independent, self-employed project manager who has presented to over 20000 Irish students within the last year.

Primarily delivering Employability workshops throughout the UK & Ireland he also offers a selection of STEM & leadership workshops. Pat specialises in Interview skills, Labour Market Information, Career Planning, Study skills, Motivational experience of work presentations as well as both parent presentations and Primary and Secondary robotics.

He has delivered both student and teacher training in Simple Robotics for the Ulster University at its 3 sites across Northern Ireland. He has also completed the Brathay leadership course in the Lake District and the Parallax Educators training course in the USA on Robotics. He delivers workshops to students from age 8 -18 years old, in addition to a range of introductory courses for teachers and student leaders.

His STEM courses include, Robotics for beginners, Secondary Science, Flight, Renewable Energy, Knex Building with motors, Geodesic Domes and Fun Mathematics.

Pat was awarded the MBE in the 1995 New Years honours List.
